Working of Limit Switch Box

The limit switch box mounts directly onto the top of the valve actuator via its NAMUR-pattern bracket, with an internal shaft connecting to the actuator’s rotating stem. As the actuator turns the valve open or closed, the shaft rotates the internal cams, which are pre-set to trigger the mechanical switches at the exact open and closed positions. Each triggered switch completes an electrical circuit, sending an on/off signal through the wiring to the control system or PLC, while the external dome indicator simultaneously provides a clear visual confirmation of valve status.
